Meet Dave and Barb Zakariasen, owners and your hosts at Zak's Resort since 1980. The second-generation here at Zak's, Dave and Barb migrated north from the Twin Cities to raise their young family on the shores of Deer Lake. After twenty-nine years, their children have grown and now they are introducing their grandchildren--the fourth generation--to the business of the small, family-owned resort. They graciously welcome you to their humble shores of Zak's Resort...the last of its kind on pristine Deer Lake. 

As your hosts, the Zak's will strive to ensure your comfortable, enjoyable stay and will give you the personal attention large resorts cannot often provide.
