ON BEAUTIFUL, CRYSTAL-CLEAR DEER LAKE
A Picturesque Getaway
What is the perfect Northwoods getaway? Many would say it would be where the water is clean, the fishing is remarkable, where sturdy pines abound, and the call of the loon breaks the silence of the sunset. We at Zak's invite you to experience your definition of perfection as you relax in the rustic charm of our cabins so close to the water's edge, it seems the loons and the lapping waves are beckoning you.
On Deer Lake
Deer Lake, one of the most sought-after lakes in Itasca County, boasts a water clarity of nearly 15 feet and spreads across 4, 097 acres. Ten islands grace its crystal-clear, spring-fed waters, and wildlife abounds. Many points, reefs, and bays draw the recreational snorklers and avid fishermen alike. Walleye, Muskies, Northern, Bass, and Pan Fish are plentiful for the sportsman, and the haunting song of the loons fills the air nightly. Make your memories on the "Lake of Changing Colors."
